PHNOM PENH TO SIEM REAP - SOUTHERN ROUTE, 3 DAYS

Day 1 PHNOM PENH / BATTAMBANG

After breakfast, depart for Battambang by road (290 km, around 5 hour drive). En route visit ceramic and silversmith villages and enjoy typical Cambodian countryside. Upon arrival in Battambang, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, stroll around the Old Colonial Quarter of Cambodia’s 2nd largest city after Phnom Penh.

Overnight in Battambang.



Day 2 BATTAMBANG(B)

After breakfast, depart by road to the surrounding area to visit Wat Slaket, the residence of the Venerable Patriarch of the Province and Wat Ek Phnom. In the afternoon visit the Museum, the local markets and Phnom Banon with its five sandstone towers. Return to Battambang in the late afternoon.

Overnight in Battambang.



Day 3 BATTAMBANG / SIEM REAP(B)

Depart for the pier and board the boat to Siem Reap (approximately 6-7 hours). Along the Sangkar River, discover the traditional daily life of the inhabitants and the scenery. Stop at the floating village of Bak Prier and visit the Black Wood Pagoda as well as Prek Tuol floating village. Take a packed breakfast on board.

Disembark to the shore of Tonle Sap Lake and transfer to Siem Reap by road.
